The sex scandal rocking Ghana

On Sunday, September 3, 2017, Pulse Ghana reported about the sex scandal of Afia Schwarzenegger.

According to the report, the popular Ghanaian TV host and comedienne was allegedly caught in bed with another man by her husband.

Afia's husband  Lawrence Abrokwah allegedly recorded the video of the incident. Abrokwah entered the room where he found his wife and her lover naked in bed.

In the video, Lawrence Abrokwah can be heard asking the man if he did not know that Afia Schwarzenegger was married. He can also be heard saying "Ashawo! Ashawo!" which means prostitute.

Afia Schwarzenegger rushed into the bathroom to cover herself according to the report. She later went on to ask her husband what he was doing in the house.

In the argument, Abrokwah claimed that he was with a bottle of acid which he threatened to use if Afia and her lover did not cooperate.

The man caught in the love triangle reportedly ran from the room after tussling with Lawrence Abrokwah. Afia Schwarzenegger insisted in the clip that her marriage with her husband is over because he allegedly assaulted her.

This scandal has been the talk of the town in Ghana. Afia Schwarzenegger is one of the biggest media personalities in the country.

Born on February 14, 1985, Afia Schwarzenegger hails from  Krofrom a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Her real name is  Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa.

She has twin boys, products from her first marriage to a South African man who died. Afia has three adoptive children, a girl and two boys.

She got the name Afia Schwarzenegger after she acted in a TV series of the same name in 2010. The media personality has hosted radio and TV shows.

Afia Schwarzenegger was formerly married to a UK pastor named  Godson Yaw Boakye. The marriage lasted only three years after Afia found out that the man of God was married with three kids in the United Kingdom. In October 2016 she married Lawrence Abroakwah.

On Friday, September 8, 2017, Lawrence Abroakwah was taken to  Domestic Violence Court. He admitted to recording the video and sent it to Afia, her father and the police but did not leak the video.

Afia Schwarzenegger who has had confrontations with many celebrities and Nigeria's own Bobrisky has spoken about the leak.
