Super Eagles defender proposes to his girlfriend of 8 years

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has shared the video of his proposal to his girlfriend of eight years, Chioma Nnamani.

Omeruo and Chioma according to Pulse Sports sources have been dating for over eight years even before he made it as a professional footballer.

The defender shared a video of his surprise proposal to Chioma on his Instagram page.

In the video, the Kasımpaşa defender paid a surprise visit to his partner who was very shocked to see him.

“What are you doing here,” Chioma asked before Omeruo knelt with a ring to pop the question.

Chioma was all tears at this point before she extended her finger to accept the proposal with her friends and family cheering her.

“Blessed to have you @oma_maranma thank you for accepting me  and thanks to my people who made it a surprise for real,” the 24-year-old defender wrote on the Instagram post.

It is not known when the proposal happened but Pulse Sports learnt that the couple has already kicked off the process of getting married.

A source told Pulse Sports that the couple has had their introduction ceremony done since June. Omeruo, Pulse Sports understand was not present at the introduction as he was on Super Eagles duties for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against South Africa which Nigeria lost 2-0.

Omeruo’s younger brother, Lucky who is also a footballer got married in June 2016, the defender was his best man at the white wedding in Netherlands.

Not much is known about Chioma who is a graduate of the Enugu State University of Technology.

From her Instagram photos, it is obvious that the beauty travels often to meet with the footballer in Turkey.
